Company AI audit and strategy

The most expensive AI is the one you deployed because everyone else did. Let us start with what actually pays off.

When companies call us

  • Management wants “something with AI”, but nobody can say what or why.
  • You have five ideas and no way to choose between them.
  • You do not know whether the EU AI Act applies to you or what it implies.
  • A previous AI project burned the budget and management has been cautious ever since.

An audit is the cheapest way to avoid an expensive mistake. We go through your processes, data and team, and produce a list of use cases ranked by what they actually return and how hard they are to build.

It includes what most vendors will not say: which ideas we recommend not doing. That earns us better references than projects that get quietly switched off after a year.

On top of that, a practical view of regulation — whether your intended use falls into the EU AI Act risk categories, what that means for documentation and what it means for personal data.

How we work

  1. 1. Talk to the people who do the work

Not only management. The best use cases are found where someone handles the same thing manually every day.

  2. 2. The state of your data

Without usable data there is no AI project. This part often reshuffles the priorities.

  3. 3. Use cases with estimated benefit and effort

Each one gets an estimate of savings, effort and risk. You decide on numbers, not enthusiasm.

  4. 4. Regulation and data protection

We walk through the EU AI Act risk categories and the duties that follow. Without unnecessary alarm.

What you get

  • A list of use cases ranked by return, with estimated savings and effort.
  • An explicit list of ideas we recommend not pursuing — and why.
  • An assessment of your data and a list of what to clean up before the first project.
  • An overview of EU AI Act obligations for your intended use.
  • A proposed first step with a budget and a timeline.

Frequently asked questions

Is the audit just a way to sell us something?

The deliverable is written to be usable without us — including estimates you can take to another vendor. If the audit concludes you do not need AI yet, we write that down.

How long does the audit take?

For a small company usually 1–2 weeks including interviews. Across several departments, 3–4 weeks.

Does the EU AI Act apply to us?

Most ordinary business uses are covered only by the basic obligations, mainly transparency towards users. Stricter rules apply to high-risk areas such as recruitment, employee evaluation or credit decisions. We classify your use and explain what follows from it.

Can we buy the audit on its own?

Yes, and it is entirely common. It is not tied to any further order.

If you are not sure where to start, start here. It is the cheapest step in the whole process.
